Adding an EA or an Indicator to MT5 is easy... but once you know how.

Here I'm going to show you step by step how to add either an indicator or an EA to your MT5 terminal

In File of your MT5 terminal select Open Data Folder.

Think of this as the insides (the organs!) of your MT5 terminal. This is where most of your settings, EAs, indicators and scripts are stored. Open MQL5 Folder.

If you download an EA (either MQL5 or ex5) you copy and paste it into Experts. With an indicator, you paste it into Indicators.

Once the files are added, close MT5 and reopen it and you will see your EA in the navigator. If the file is not there after restarting MT5 chances are you've put it in the wrong place.

When in MT5, hit ctrl + n to toggle the navigator and you should see under Indicators or Expert Advisors tab, the file you just added. Happy hunting!
